Google services and android-OS raping my data plan on nexus 5, kitkat 4.4.4

In the past week, Google services and AndroidOS (Android-besturingssysteem in Dutch) have been using up extreme amounts of data.
I have a small date plan of 750mb. The mb's used by spotify aren't subtracted from my plan because of of special offer-deal with my provider.
I suspect the update tot kitkat 4.4.4 has something to do with it.. Can anybody offer some insight to this matter?

Welcome to the Forums. In the first instance try a Soft Reset, and a Cached Data clear.
