Did I get a returned phone?

Just picked up the Galaxy S5 Active, noticed when I got home that the battery cover has a little bit of give. Not much, but after closing it, I noticed I can press on it and it would go in a little more, like a mm or so. Also, when I went to add my accounts, I saw that developer's options was already on. I thought you had to tap on the Build Number in the About Phone section to turn it on at the beginning. I don't care too much about the developer thing, but I do want to make sure that the batter cover isn't defective since I do plan on using the phone to take pictures while in the pool.

I would take it into the store and show them. I would actually be inclined to think that it might be either defective, or returned.
