In an atempt to be able to use skype to make calls, i.e. to get a prompt when I make a call. I searched the net and found a number of answers that I should delete the 'dialer storage'. When I tried all the options and buttons (in Application manager) were greyed out except for 'Force stop', so I pressed that; not knowing what I did. Since then there has been no difference in the functioning of the phone. Phoning, sending messages, ... all history is still there. What does the dialer storage actually do? since the functionality of my phone is the same as before?
    Thanx!

Force Stopping an app doesn't mean it stays stopped. It likely restarted on its own soon after, without your knowing it.
