Vibration has suddenly become weak

Hi. I have an HTC Desire X which was working fine until this morning when the vibration has suddenly become so weak that i can barely feel it or hear it. Does anyone know why this has happened and how it can be fixed? Would greatly appreciate any help. Thanks!

Have you checked the volume settings?
Normally that's where you'll find what kind of vibration you want and how intense you want it.
