Repair Old or Buy New Samsung Tablet?

A

AC Question

Hi,
I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (original) that was damaged by water in my tote bag. It's been two months now and the table works for a while before the screen becomes funky and transparent like. Should I try to have the tablet repaired or get something new like the Note 12.2 Pro? Where would I be able to get the tablet fixed if that's an option.

Does the entire screen do this, or a portion of it? It sounds like water is reacting to the tablet heating up. This would definitely be indicated if a portion of the screen did this. See the other two posts from today on wet devices.
