Just switching from iphone to Galaxy s5. Is there a way to set up sounds so I can differentiate text notifications from new emails like I had on the iphone? Also is there a way to make to text notifications repeat after a minute to remind me of the new text message?

Welcome to android. I don't think you can do that with the S5. I think this particular feature varies however from one manufacturer/phone to another. I'll look into it a little and get back to you if I can confirm this one way or another.

Update: On my Nexus 7 tablet you can. Its in the settings -- IMAP, select account, set ringtone. I don't have my S5 near me right now but I will look at it when I am done getting my kids to sleep and let you know what I find.

For the S5 go to settings __ accounts__ email__ settings, select which email account, set the notification sound.
