What does it mean? Its like an exclamation mark. Is this some battery warning or something like that? Sorry for the bad quality.

OK. Are you rooted? When you power off the device and charge it that way, does the battery icon that comes up, is it normal or does it show a warning?

I don't think this is related to the battery though.

I would try booting into recovery and seeing if there's any system messages there as to why this might be happening or try to boot into safe mode, but I doubt that'll clear it.

See if you can get in to service mode if not blocked by a major carrier. You can test if it is a pixel problem by doing screen colour tests.

The battery icon that comes up, is normal but sometimes it shows a warning (yellow triangle). Does that mean that I have to buy a new battery? My battery life is horrible, I can use my phone max 1 hour and at 40% the screen starts shimmer and then turns off.

If you're getting the yellow triangle with the exclamation mark, then yeah, it's telling you that there's an issue with charging, usually meaning that your battery has reached the end of its life cycle and that it should be replaced.
