Problem viewing ics calendar invites in gmail

[AC Question]

I just updated to an S5 from an S3 and now I cant see the details of ics calendar invites in gmail. The invites are automatically loading into my google calendar but because I cant see the details in gmail I dont even know where to go look for the invite in my google calendar.

Hallo, did you found an answer? I do experience the same problem and not found a solution yet.

I'm not sure about the S5 and whether touchwiz is supposed to have something, but the ability to read .ics items is not built into Android - I have this same problem on Nexus but my Galaxy S3 worked fine.

There are lightweight apps to fix this https://forums.androidcentral.com/e....com/store/search?q=ics&c=apps&token=a8llhxJQ ICS Databridge used to be my favorite but it stopped working yesterday and hasn't been updated since March 2013. iCal import/export is working well now. Free or $3 to get rid of the requests to upgrade, which are annoying. ICS importer was ok but I don't find the interface as simple to understand.
