My Verizon Samsung galaxy s3 won't charge in my car anymore. The outlet in carworks and phone will charge with wall outlet only. Help!

Are you using the same car outlet (usb adapter) and cord? You may want to consider doing two things: power off the device and see if it charger or try another usb adapter and cord combination. If the device charges when power off then there's nothing wrong with the cord/adapter. If it doesn't, then it could be the cord/adapter and you might want to consider another.
