[AC Question]

I have a samsung galaxy 4, when i go to gallary and clicked on a photo at the top there used to be a message icon which would allow me to grab the photo and send it via text message. The icon is not at the top anymore wondering what do I need to do to get it back.

Is there anything at the top? There should still be a button that looks like 3 dots connected by a zig zag (forgive the poor description). When you click on that you will get the sharing options and the messaging app will be there.

Welcome to Android Central! Are you using the stock Gallery app? Do you see any icons along the top when you select a photo? Can you show us a screenshot?

You could try going to the App Manager, selecting Gallery, and Clearing Cache, then Force Stop. You could also Clear Data if needed. You'll need to wait for the Gallery to repopulate with the images.

You could also try booting into Recovery Mode and wiping the cache partition: Reset: Samsung Galaxy S 4 | T-Mobile Support
