[AC Question]

Have only hard the phone a few days, and voice mail is not working, the phone won't connect. We have been back to car phone warehouse they put the sim into one of their phones and the same problem arose. Phoned talk talk and they have sent us a new sim. Have tried it today and the same thing is happening, phone just rings and rings and then cuts off, and when you try to phone voice mail it just does a beep and cuts off. Is their something in settings that I may need to change or is it the phone, everything else seems to be working ok. Thanks

Have you talked to the carrier directly? Is the warehouse just a cell store or the carrier?

Talk to the carrier's tech support department. See if they'll reprovision your account. IF that doesn't work, ask where you can bring the phone - to one of THEIR locations - to get the matter straightened out. Either something is wrong with your account provisioning (which the carrier has to fix on their system from their office) or the phone is defective (and Car Phone Warehouse has to replace it).

(As the ex-owner of a few cellphone stores, I can tell you that most people selling phones in most cellphone stores know little more about cellphones than most supermarket checkers. People who sell cellphones in car audio stores know even less. Their only job requirement is to be able to fill the cash register [IOW, sell things, whether you want or need them or not]. Fixing problems costs them money, so it's not something they want to spend any time doing.)
