Question Nexus 4 refuses to boot

I've had this stock nexus 4 for some time now. A couple of days back it rebooted itself - presumably while uploading some photos (not sure if this is an important thing). After boot, the four circles keep circling and nothing really happens.
Since then I've tried multiple things which include
    -installing factory image using flash-all.bat,
-changing the recovery to CMW, installing factory image,
    -installing Cyanogenmod 11 (right version)
In both factory image and CM11, the boot process doesn't complete.

Is there anything else I can do at this point? I am beginning to suspect hardware failure. If if indeed is hardware failure, is there a way to diagnose it?
