I use wifi for most of the time, but recently Android OS has used far more mobile data than wifi.(60M VS 5M).I did the following, trying to stop this:
    1, Check "Restrict background data"
    2, Turn off "Auto-sync data"
3, Turn off "Back up my data"

However, after doing all of these, just in two hours Android OS consumed another 20M! It's terrible! What could be the problem?

My phone is Moto G, OS version is 4.4.3.

Welcome to Android Central! Sorry, I don't have a direct answer for you--but have you considered using a mobile data toggle to turn it on or off when you need it? I don't need my phone constantly connected to the web, so I toggle it off when I'm not actively using it.
