Angry When I plug my Samsung Galaxy s3 in, a red "x" shows up on the battery sign

I've had kit kat for a while, and I highly doubt that if my phone had a problem, it would manifest itself so late. Any ways, I've tried countless chargers and I've replaced the battery 3 times. When it's on, it doesn't charge at all, the red "x" as previous mentioned shows up and my battery drains really slowly. When its off, it doesn't charge at all. I'm really close to my update, is there any way I can fix it so I can make it until my update?

Welcome to Android Central! It's probably a problem with the charging port. You'd have to get the port replaced. If you have an external battery charger, that's probably the way to go until your upgrade date.
