verizon note 3 ROM issues

OK, so i'm about as dumb as a pile of bricks, so I don't even know why I attempted this... but I did. I tried to load a ROM onto my verizon note 3, with kitkat 4.4.2 already on there. I failed multiple times, and found out that only the stock slot works with safestrap 3.72, which is what I was using. So, after I found that out, I backed up my system, wiped the slot, and tried loading Hyperdrive onto it. I kept getting a black screen, and eventually just tried loading the backup back onto the slot... but it didn't work. I would love some help, the phone is rooted, and I would preferably have a ROM over the stock os.
