I'm trying to flash Philz-Touch 6.43.4 recovery onto my Razr Maxx HD using the Fastboot method. When I try to do this, I get two messages during the attempt: "<bootloader> Variable not supported" and "FAILED (remote failure)". Stock recovery is still on, so I know nothing was irreversibly damaged. Some other places on Google have mentioned that I need to use a Motorola-specific fastboot.exe file. Does anyone know whether that's true, and where can I find one?
EDIT: OK, so I found the mfastboot.exe file and did everything right. However, now I have the same issue as when I was trying to flash using Rashr--namely, freezing on the Motorola DualCore splash screen for three minutes, then rebooting into full mode. So now I'm back to square one. Does ANYONE have any experience with flashing recoveries on the Razr Maxx HD?
