Google+ auto-archive option to save battery
Yesterday at a small outdoor concert I took 5 separate videos that totaled about 2 GB. Previously I had set my Google+ auto-synch to be wifi only. After I got home and had dinner I checked my phone and saw it had dropped form about 80% battery to 22%. I couldn't understand why this happened, and then I realized Google+ had been uploading 2 GB of data.
After some searching I found that there is an additional setting on the Camera and Google+ apps (it's actually the same setting) that lets yo uspecify "Synch only when on battery charger." So by setting this to On it's easy to prevent huge battery drains when you have a big bunch of videos or photos to synch.
