AC Question
Hi Everyone,
English is my native Language, but not all my friends speak it, or there are some words or phrases that lack English equivalents. Anyways, for the past few months I have been able to select, from the Google keyboard voice to text launcher what language I wish to speak in. Now, when I select "Spanish (Argentina)" I am no longer able to have anything other than "Default English".
The issue seems to be caused by Google thinking that it's voice detection software is so great now that it can detect the difference between languages being spoken by the same person. Anyone who speaks Italian and Spanish can tell you the languages share dozens of everyday homonyms and words like ciao and chao, which mean the same but are spelled differently.
But I digress; before I used to be able to disable auto detection of languages, but now when I disable this I can no longer have ANY voice to text services.
I know this is pretty petty, but it was a feature I loved that my android phone had that my old iPhone didn't...
