Default Is there a 'Disc Access Indicator' app for Android?

You know.. like on your PC.. an LED that lights up when the hard drive is being accessed.

I'm wondering if there is an app for Android that does this?

I'd like to know when my Droid is accessing the drive/storage

a little indicator 'light' somewhere on the screen would be nice!

I googled like crazy, and only find battery indicator apps.

It accesses storage 100% of the time it is powered on so if there was an LED for it it would be lite all the time. The storage on Android is one location of memory that is partitioned to form the different areas. The second it powers ON and the RAM starts loading up the memory is in constant use. If your device has a Power On LED you can consider that your HD indicator light
