Galaxy S4 Charging issue

Hi i bought a galaxy s4 from sprint a while back & lately my battery has been charging really slow!! I noticed when i charge from the wall it says it is charging from usb & I know it chould says its charging from AC about 4 months ago i got anew charging cable & i saw it charged faster than the oem one. So i was wondering if it was the battery or the cable. Please help!!
