Hey everyone. I was a GS3 user. I keep changing phones most of the time and I decided to give a shot to Pantech Vega smartphones. I bought a brand new Pantech Vega 900s in black color. Its a korean company and their phones are hard to get but I managed to order one. So firstly, let me inform you about the specs of the device:
    2.3Ghz Quadcore, Snapdragon 800 processor.
    Fingerprint Scanner.
    2GB ram.
    3150mAh battery.
    1080P display, 386PPi, 5.7 inches display.
13MP cam with 2.1MP front facing camera.
So my first impressions were WOW. The display, the smoothness and speed of the phone was jaw-dropping. The fingerprint works flawlessly. It has really good looks too. The battery is perfect. I get screen on time of 19 hours and more with wifi, texting, calling, watching one movie on the phone everyday. I was just wondering has anyone of you got the chance to check this phone out? Its a lot cheaper than GS5 and probably rivals the GS5 & Note 3. Cheers!

It depends on price. You can get a opo for $300,or nexus 5 for $350.

Yeah Samsung is sold at a higher profit margin, that's just the way things are. Samsung has a much larger following.

Well, I got this device for $260 totally unlocked and brand new. And Tbh, its a pretty damn good device. It has a win point over the OPO and N5 with its fingerprint scanner plus back-sided button like the LG G3. I'm really satisfied with this device.

Sounds pretty decent then. I am not familiar with it because it is not popular in the usa. But my point being, comparison to Samsung isn't really fair, if you leave out other bargain priced competitors. Smartphones are a tough market now, and unless you have enough of a following, you would have a hard time charging a premium.
