Android Game Similar to an old Activision Game

[AC Question]

Hey guys
I have developed an android game but i havent published it yet,
Unfortunately i found a similar gameplay in a game which was released by Activision(TM) in 1983.
I was wondering is there going to be a copyright issue if the gameplay is similar to their game?
Can anyone help and explain in details about this to me.
Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to Android Central! I'm not a lawyer, but I seriously doubt there would be any issue. There are so many games that are similar to others (case in point: Flappy Bird, ugh), but as long as the title isn't exactly the same, I think you're probably fine.

Which Activision game? Those were good times.
