I recently tried rooting my S5 which failed miserably and bricked the phone... I had to flash the phone with firmware that I found on SamMobile.
The model is the SM-G900H, which I purchased at a Samsung store in Florida where the staff there unlocked it internationally for me. My issue is that all of the firmware for the SM-G900H on SamMobile is for different countries, not including the US. I had to choose the 'Jamaica' option because Jamaica is the closest country to where I live. Now whenever the phone boots it boots to a 'Digicel' logo - a Caribbean phone carrier. While the phone seems to be unlocked still, I fear that domestic calls are being registered as international.
Does anybody know where I can find the official United States firmware for the SM-G900H? Even if it means that I have to make it international again?
