internet wont work

Hi i've had a samsung galaxy s4 mini for about a month now. It has always connected to my wifi and worked fine. I came home yesterday to find we'd had a powercut and now my phone is connected to wifi but when i go on apps like facebook etc. they wont refresh or do anything. I've noticed that on the wifi display at the top of my phone, the green arrow is lit up but not the orange one. I know its not the internet itself because my brothers phone and my iPod connect to the wifi. I'm wondering if the power cut has reset something or something has happened but I dont know what to do. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Thanks

I guess you could start from scratch again.
If you go to the wifi settings, when your home's network comes up press on it.
It'll ask to forget that network, press on forget.
Than, connect to the network again like the first time.
