Time Zone Changes with Samsung Gear Live

[AC Question]

Whenever I travel, I put my Gear Live into airplane mode as well as my phone. However, when I land in a new time zone, my phone will auto update to the new time, but my Gear Live will not even though it reconnects with the phone. The only way I have been able to get it to update to the new time zone is to restart the watch. Is there a better way to do this or a setting that I am missing?

I have exactly the same issue - the watch never seems to update. Indeed I have to go into phone settings and change my timezone automatic date and time off before resetting the watch shows any change. This is very annoying as I change timezones frequently.

Well... this looks like a bug -- I am having the same issue. You would think that they would have checked this one out during development. I have found that if you select a new watch face that the time zone resets to the correct zone.
