hi i have a note 3 an in the battery indicator thers a red x an it wont charge what does this mean

Welcome to Android Central! That often means it can't draw enough current. Are you using the original cable? Is it plugged into a wall outlet or a laptop USB?

Try using a different cable. If you're charging from a laptop, try a wall outlet instead.
