Overchargine Samsung Tablet

[AC Question]

I accidentally left my tablet on charge from 8.45 till 6.30 yesterday and now it wont turn on. Have I done any damage to it, or do I need to just leave it for a few days? x

Welcome to Android Central! Which tablet do you have? You can't overcharge a modern device. Does the tablet show any signs of life? Are any LEDs on? Does the screen come on at all when you press and hold the power button?

Was it plugged into a surge protector, or just in a wall outlet? If there was a power surge, that could have caused serious damage to the internal circuitry.
