i spilled a tiny amount of water on my phone samsung s4 mini

my phone was on at the time, i dried the screen and everything seemed to work fine but then i noticed the headphone icon was on, as if i had them in use which i didnt. i pulled the phone apart and was all dry but put it in rice and turned off and took battery out. this is still happening after 4 hours and now i cant put headphones in to asnwer my phone as seems somethings blocking it. have checked as best i can and no rice is inside the head phone bit.

Welcome to Android Central! I'd suspect that something metal is lodged in there, which might make the phone think the headphone plug is still in. If it's lodged in really tightly, you might have to bring it to a shop to get it removed. But you can also try this method:
