USB mode and then shut off

[AC Question]

I have the galaxy phone and I am having a major issue. The problem is that the icon for when you plug it into the computer(USB mode) continues to pop up at the top of the screen. Eventually the phone will cut off, without my knowledge, and I have to plug it into the charger in order to cut it back on because it will not work with me doing it manually. Keep in mind that my battery was fully charged.
