Does Moto X (2nd Gen.) have built-in WiFi calling like the iPhone 6?

If you mean the new MotoX, yes, it does. And I think even the original one had it too on certain carriers. Just so we're clear, you do know WiFi calling has been around for quite some time now, right? iPhone did not by any means 'invent it', a lot of phones have had it before.

I don't mean to bash the iPhone 6 (too much), but all I saw was Apple playing catch up with what we've had for ages, and in some instances, not even that (HD display on a phablet? Really, what is this, 2012?!). They do get extra points for how smooth and optimized their hardware is, if we could only get that on Android (and the universal updates) we'd be in geeky heaven.

I wouldn't go so far as to say a lot of phones had it. Few phones had it built into the firmware. Even now, Google seems to require that stupid Hangouts thing to use it. It's not always baked into the Firmware like Apples. From what I've seen, Apple has done it better. But it certainly existed before iPhone 6.
