Help, need to move data and stuff from HTC Vivid to new Samsung Galaxy S5

[AC Question]

My vivid is on its last legs and I got a new Galaxy S5 today. The ATT guy told me to download Samsung Smart Switch to move the data from my HTC to the Samsung. But there isn't an option to download to HTC.

I want to save off the data and move it to the S5 before the vivid finally dies. Can someone give me some advice.

What data are you trying to save? Photos, videos, and contacts are all easily backed up with Google +. For game data or something more specific you might want to try using Helium Backup
