Storage won't increase

I am trying to free up space on my phone, but the storage space barely changes no matter how much I delete. I have deleted all of my photos and apps that I don't need, and have run a storage cleaner app several times to free up any more space. However, after doing all of this the storage shows that it has only increased by 10MB. The apps and photos I deleted made up close to 100MB of space. I'm not sure what else I should be doing. Any help would be appreciated. My phone is an Alcatel OneTouch 5020T

Welcome to Android Central! Do you have a lot of saved text messages? That can take up some room, especially if there are lots of attached photos.

Also, try booting into Recovery Mode and wiping the cache partition, which won't erase any personal data: Reset: Alcatel ONE TOUCH Evolve™ | T-Mobile Support
