Can't use internet on Moto G

A

AC Question

I've just got an android for the first time. The internet was working fine, but since I have moved to university and tried to set up wifi here, I can't access anything that uses the internet. It always says I have logged in incorrectly, but when I enter my correct google account details (which work fine on my computer) it doesn't accept them: 'Can't establish a reliable connection to the server. This could be a temporary problem or your Android devide may not be provisioned for data services.' But on settings>wifi it says I'm connected to the local wifi with good connection strength, so I shouldn't be relying on data. Any explanation would be much appreciated.

Welcome to Android Central! Are you using campus wifi? Are you sure you entered all of the login info correctly? Are you supposed to enter any proxy settings? Have you spoken with the university's IT support?
