    I have had this Note 3/Gear Fit combo for a couple of months. Loved the auto-lock feature when the Gear Fit was in proximity to the phone. Now, all of a sudden, that option is just... gone! Not only does it no longer work, the option simply isn't there! (I'm on T-Mo). Following is the transcript of my (unedited) live chat with Samsung support (totally unhelpful). Anybody know how to fix this?

    Visitor: i don't see where it can be updated

    Seaton: Lets perform hardkey reset, it will delete all the data on the device.

    Seaton: Lets wipe cache before hardkey reset.
    Seaton: Wipe cache deletes all unwanted files.
    Visitor: i don't know how to do that

    Seaton: May I know the model number of your phone? To know the model number of the phone, please tap on Home>> Applications>> Settings>> About phone or beneath the phone's battery which generally starts with SGH, SCH or SPH .

    Seaton: Okay, lets perform wipe cache.

    Seaton: 1.Power the device off (remove and re-insert the battery)
    Seaton: 2.Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Home key, then press and hold the Power key.
    Seaton: 3.When the device vibrates; release only the Power key
    Seaton: 4.When the Android system recovery menu displays; release the Volume Up and the Home key.
    Seaton: 5.Navigate with the Volume keys to the wipe cache option and press the Power key to select.
    Seaton: 6.After user data deletes, press the Power key to reboot system now.
    Seaton: Are you able to follow the steps?

    Visitor: the option still is no there
    Seaton: It option might be gone by the recent update on the device.

    I have the same problem with the exact same model number for galaxy gear fit. My note 3 is on Verizon. I had the auto lock feature when I first setup watch, but now the option is gone in the settings on the Galaxy Gear Fit Manager app on my phone. I think the tech was right when they said he thought maybe Samsung upgraded the firmware to leave the auto lock feature off and that there was no way to downgrade it. That is too bad because next to receiving notification the auto lock (and auto unlocking) was the best feature on the Galaxy Gear Fit.
