What kind of delay would I be expecting with Miracast based tech?

I have a LG 6205 Smart TV (high end 2013 model) and a LG G3. I was wondering if I could be using this to play video games from my phone to my TV< with minimal to no latency? I'mnot entirely srue how the miracast tech works, bt I've got a ps3 controller that I use to play for example MC5 on my phone, but it would just be 100x more feasible on my 47 inch TV. Can you imagine the advantage I'd have fighting people with 4-6 inch screens on my 47 inch! lol

Anyway, Can miracast be used to steam games (something akin to nvidias gamestream but from tablet to TV?
