Galaxy Note 8.0 can't boot up after upgrade to Kitkat

[AC Question]

Hello .. Just upgrade my Galaxy Note 8.0 (GT-N5100) to Kitkat. The upgrade completed ok, but then after it asked for a restart.

It loads logo screen, then the 'enter your PIN or password to use encrypted device memory', password entered then the Android green guy appears briefly then just blank screen.

Battery in close to full. Even if I reboot, I am stuck at the same screen

Anybody else has this problem? Need help, please?

Welcome to Android Central! Try booting into Recovery and wiping the cache partition. Follow the steps in this video, but instead of selecting Wipe Data/Factory Reset, make sure you select Wipe Cache Partition. When complete, then select Reboot System Now.
