I own an LG Optimus L70 phone. It's a great device but in my opinion is lacks one think that many others have and that is the ability to mass delete text messages by any means rather than the tedious task of deleting them one by one and clicking yes for each. Perhaps there is a way that I have not yet found and somehone can enlighten me. If this phone is not capable of doing this task, is there an app I can get that will? Thanks very much for any help.

Welcome to Android Central! Try going to Settings>Apps>All, select the Messaging app, and Clear Cache/Clear Data. If there's some separate "Message Storage" app, clear that data as well.
