    Hello,

I recently updated my Note 8 G-NT5100 to KitKat 4.4.2. Since then my Note has been acting weird, first it showed full network even though the sim was not inserted, then when I inserted the sim it asked me to restart the device, which is normal. I restarted the device but it wont restart untill I attached it to the charger. Now the device switches off itself.

Please someone help me. Is this the issue with the android or the device itself?

    Welcome to the Forums!

It is said by some that performing a Cache Partition wipe after an update is a good thing, so you may care to try that on yours....assuming you can get into Recovery. This shows how if you're not certain....it should be the same for your model:

Hea thanks for the suggestion. I got my note repaired. i found out that my battery crashed, so i got it changed. Before, i too it for repairing, I had factory reset my note. Its working fine now.

After getting my note repaired, my keypad didn't work well. Like when i clicked enter Google chrome opened. I restarted the device and now the keypad's working fine as well.
