my lg optimus gwont stop?!

When I woke up this morning my LG was weird, the top of the screen was missing so I turned it off, then it turned off went as normal but then after I got the LG sign it went all black and started ringing non stop, I cant turn it off because itll just turn on again, now I cant turn it on again, and it wont just shut off. PLEASE HELP?!?!

Try holding the power button down for about 5 or 10 seconds, and it should shut down. If possible, pull the battery out for a few minutes. Then turn the phone back on and see if this happens again.
