    Hi,

I've had my phone for almost 18 months now and it has been fine up until now.

But what happens is that my phone will lose battery power very quickly and then randomly, whilst still on 78% or 53% or 39% (all examples from when it has crashed on me), will suddenly restart and when the phone turns back on again the battery life will be at 0%. I have turned off my wifi and dimmed the brightness of my screen but it makes no difference. Will getting a new battery fix this? I have tried the spin test and it spins endlessly, and there is a small bulge in the middle.

    Thanks for the help!

I diagnose battery failure, with a high level of confidence! Don't leave it in your phone in that condition....it could burst and do damage. Even if only misshapen it will probably be exerting pressure on circuitry and components, including the screen.
