screen on in clip

[AC Question]

I have a Galaxy s5, and during the day, the phone is in my clip and the screen continuously comes on. I think this is a feature, like the smart view, but i have them all turned off and the phone continues to do this. The only annoyance is that when the phone comes on all day while not in use and there are no new notifications, it drains the battery...could someone please help me with this?
