I'm having major battery issues. First, it drains significantly faster than it used to. I have tried dimming the screen to 20%, and turning off location, bluetooth, syncing, and wifi. This has helped but not returned my phone to its normal battery life. Also, having to do the above things just to have my phone work all day is fairly extreme. Battery usage log shows mostly OS and screen.

More concerning, though, is that my phone has started to turn off randomly. The battery level will show about 30-35%, but then it will turn power down all of a sudden. If I turn it back on, it will show the red battery with the exclamation point briefly and shut down again. When I plug it in and turn it on, it will show 30-35% again, right away, even when it has only been "charging" for one or two minutes.

    Any ideas?

It could simply be that the battery is failing. I think that's the first thing to check.
