BTW Galaxy S4 root help

So I'm having trouble unlocking my phone, backing up my stock rom, and all that. So far I have downloaded safestrap, rom manager, selinux mode changer, and did the towel root thing. So I believe I unlocked the bootloader at least. Safe strap says installed, but when I try to reboot to backup it says error and the backup option doesn't appear, just option to clear stuff and reboot. Please help
