How can I delete my auto-backup folder for Picasa on my s3?

Update : I can delete the pics through my PC on Google+. I can go into my Picasa app on my android and delete them there but then they delete them EVERYWHERE... off my auto backup folder, but also my regular gallery, instagram gallery, etc. I want the pics on my phone, but i don't need another folder with the exact same pics in it taking up all that space! It even has all the pics that I've deleted off my regular album because I didn't like them. I don't want to give in and use "photos" as my regular photo-viewer.
PLEASE HELP!!

Welcome to Android Central! The pics shouldn't be taking up a huge amount of space on your phone, because all you're seeing in the gallery view is thumbnails. The phone isn't downloading every single full-sized photo to your phone. That said, if you have a lot of thumbnails, it can still take up some space.
