How to unblock the imei number

[AC Question]

I checked and the phone was reported lost/stolen but its not blacklisted. Please help me.

I FOUND A AT$T GALAXY NOTE 3 AND I PAID TO GET THE UNLOCK CODES. SO CURRENTLY, THE PHONE IS UNLOCKED, THEN TOOK IT TO TMOBILE FOR SERVICE AND IT WON'T CONNECT TO THEIR NETWORK. ALL MY CONTACTS ARE IN, MY EMAIL ACTS, EVERYTHING IS GOOD IT JUST DOESN''T CONNECT. THE TECHNICIAN TOLD ME THAT THE IMEI NUMBER IS BLOCKED, THAT'S WHAT HE SAID WAS THE ISSUE WITH THE PHONE. WHAT CAN I DO AND HOW CAN I GET THE IMEI UNBLOCKED?

Return the phone to at&t telling them that you found the phone. The original owner can ask the imei to be unblocked.

You cannot change an IMEI number since it's against the law to do so.

Please return the phone to AT&T so it can be returned to the rightful owner.

I think the fact that the phone was reported lost, no carrier will touch it. I agree with dpham00, and return it to the carrier.
