Hi, I'm a new android user and have purchased the G3. Have transferred my music collection and a few cbr comic files onto it via Windows Explorer and a USB cable. The cbr files don't appear in file explorer on the handset and when I try to play the music files I am greeted with the following message: Music Playback error. "Couldn't play the track that you requested".

I suspect that it is due to the SD card itself, either the formatting or its speed (although it works fine in my GoPro Hero 3). The card is a Sandisk 32GB Class 10 Micro SD HC card if that helps.

Could someone please inform me on what I need to do to play my music and see my comic files?

    Much appreciated,
    Josh

Welcome to Android Central! In KitKat, apps need specific permissions to access the SD card. Which music and file explorer apps are you using? The stock ones? Try 3rd party apps like ES File Explorer and MortPlayer Music.
