I dropped my phone the other day onto a hard floor. The screen is not broken or anything, but instead when I try to turn it on, there are speckles of green and red making it look like a starry sky or sand. Everthing elese is operational, like the buttons, notifications and I can pick up calls too. I dont have insurance so im trying to find a cheaper alternative. PLEASE TELL ME WHAT IS WRONG!

Welcome to Android Central! The screen has most likely been damaged by the drop. You can either bring the phone to a repair shop and get an estimate, or try to do the replacement yourself, if you're handy. I believe there are a number of YouTube videos that show you how to do it.
