My Samsung Galaxy Ace has stopped showing any wifi networks. The phone is just scanning and there are no identified networks to connect to. There are usually many networks in range and I have a whole list of previous networks I connected to before but nothing is there now?
I have tried switching the phone off and on and connecting the phone to my laptop and to Kies to update the phone but nothing works.
I have searched the internet to see if anyone else has had the same problem but it seems no.
Can anyone help and come up with any ideas of what to do. I don't want to do factory reset as that would mean I lose all my data and contacts.
    thanks

Welcome to Android Central! Try booting into Recovery Mode and wiping the cache partition, which won't erase any personal data. Follow the steps in this video, but instead of selecting Wipe Data/Factory Reset, make sure you select Wipe Cache Partition. When complete, then select Reboot System Now.
