Why is my Acer smartphone going crazy?

acer smartphone is doing crazy stuff

So i have this acer smartphone i just bought off my dad.
and it had some apps on it and some widgets randomly put around and i removed them all via the application tab in settings and from the front page and they were removed completely , then i restart the device and everything is back , the background is changed back the widgets are back the apps which i removed are back like they were when i just got it then i decided to do a factory reset and everything was just again in the same state as i got the phone now i need to know how can i stop this i want to have my own settings and apps on the phone

A factory reset sets the phone to the state it was in when you took it out of the box. If you put in your own settings, then do a factory reset, you lose all your settings. It's working the way it should - you're not doing what you want the phone to do. First the factory reset, then set the phone up your way.
