My SD card is showing that I have less storage space then it should, why?

SD card problem

Added 64 GB card to Galaxy S5 but it states 16.53 GB in storage.Card is ok ,I have checked it in another device

1) Are you sure you're checking the SD Card storage, not the free space in the phone's internal storage?

2) When you checked it in the other device, did it show 64gB of space?

3) Did you format the card in the phone? (You should. Boot into recovery and format it. Then boot normally and check the space on the card. It should be just under 64gB - not GB, and please learn the difference. The number of gB is larger than the number of GB by a factor of about 1.074:1. 64gB is about 59.6GB. The card manufacturers usually use "GB" for the gB size, making the card seem larger than you think it is. Most disk drive manufacturers do the same thing.)
